SIT, Stampa Imballaggi Trasparenti (Transparent Packaging Printing) was founded in 1967 under the name Rotostampa, based on the entrepreneurial expertise of Romano Michelotti and his daughter, Simona. At the time, the company had only 6 employees and its premises covered just 600 m².
In 1971, it became SIT s.a. and in 1979 the company transferred to new premises, which it still occupies. It began to expand in 2005; an expansion that subsequently led to the establishment of a group pooling together the expertise of SIT, SITITALIA and SAREL PLAST.
